About me as a therapist

As a therapist, I believe that every struggle carries a story that deserves to be understood. My approach integrates evidence-based methods such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, and PE techniques. I help clients make sense of their inner world, strengthen emotional regulation, and restore a sense of balance and self-trust. Together, we turn insight into practical steps that create real movement toward healing and resolution.

Clients often describe me as thoughtful, warm, and grounded. I value respect, clarity, and cultural inclusivity, and I strive to meet each person with genuine presence—supporting them as they move toward their therapeutic goals.

About my therapy sessions

In our sessions, I begin by understanding your current needs, goals, and emotional landscape through open and collaborative dialogue. When helpful, psychological assessments or structured tools may be used to clarify patterns and guide the process.

My sessions are active, focused, and tailored to your pace. I draw from evidence-based methods including CBT, ACT, EMDR, and exposure-based techniques, while integrating emotion-focused and attachment-based perspectives. Together, we work toward clarity, emotional regulation, and practical steps for real-life change.

Rather than just talking, therapy with me involves insight, reflection, and actionable tools that support lasting growth and balance. Each session is a safe and confidential space designed to help you reconnect with yourself and move forward with confidence.

My professional background and knowledge

My professional background and knowledge

I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Neuropsychology, and I am a licensed psychologist in Finland. My professional training includes EMDR Therapy, Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Neuropsychological Assessment. Over the years, I have worked with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, mood difficulties, and life adjustment challenges, integrating evidence-based methods with a compassionate, human approach.

I founded WellSight, a private psychology practice built on the values of respect, clarity, and inclusivity. My work emphasizes emotional safety, cultural sensitivity, and science-based care—helping clients build self-awareness, restore balance, and move toward healing and personal growth.

Client group

I work with adults, adolescents (15+), and children who seek support in understanding their emotions and restoring balance in daily life. My clients often face challenges such as low mood, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, obsessive thoughts, or general overwhelm and uncertainty.

I also support families working through emotional tension, communication difficulties, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are refugees, immigrants, or newcomers to Finland, and I provide culturally sensitive care for Arabic-speaking individuals who prefer therapy in their native language.

My approach suits those seeking clarity, direction, and practical support within a warm, time-limited, and collaborative therapeutic process.
